केवल सामुदायिक जागरूकता अभियानों में ही सायरन ध्वनि के प्रयोग की अनुमति, अन्य कार्यक्रमों में उपयोग न करने की एडवाइजरी जारी

नई दिल्ली। केंद्रीय गृह मंत्रालय (MHA) ने सभी मीडिया चैनलों को एक महत्वपूर्ण एडवाइजरी जारी करते हुए कहा है कि वे सिविल डिफेंस एयर रेड साइरन की ध्वनि का उपयोग केवल सामुदायिक जागरूकता अभियानों तक ही सीमित रखें। मंत्रालय ने स्पष्ट किया है कि समाचार, धारावाहिक या अन्य प्रकार के कार्यक्रमों में इस ध्वनि का प्रयोग न किया जाए, ताकि जनता में भ्रम या अनावश्यक भय की स्थिति उत्पन्न न हो।

गृह मंत्रालय का यह निर्देश सार्वजनिक सुरक्षा और संचार की जिम्मेदारी के दृष्टिकोण से महत्वपूर्ण माना जा रहा है।
