दिनांक 11 मार्च 2025 को उत्तराखण्ड के राज्य निर्वाचन आयुक्त ने आगामी 2025 त्रिस्तरीय पंचायत चुनावों की तैयारियों की समीक्षा करने हेतु जिला अधिकारियों, पंचायती राज अधिकारियों और स्थानीय निर्वाचन अधिकारियों के साथ एक Video Conference आयोजित की।
बैठक में मुख्य रूप से Special Campaign के तहत चल रहे मतदाता सूची को अपडेट करने के अभियान की समीक्षा की गई। यह अभियान 01 मार्च 2025 से 22 मार्च 2025 तक चलाया जा रहा है, जिसका उद्देश्य पंचायत निर्वाचक नामावली 2025 में मतदाताओं के नाम जोड़ना, संशोधन और सुधार करना है। राज्य की हर ग्राम पंचायत में बैठक आयोजित की जा रही है, जिसमें सभी ग्रामवासियों की सहभागिता सुनिश्चित की जा रही है।
इस दौरान संगणक और BLOs (Booth Level Officers) भी बैठक में भाग लेंगे और मतदाता सूची में नाम जुड़वाने और संशोधन से संबंधित फॉर्म प्राप्त करेंगे, ताकि सभी पात्र मतदाताओं को मतदाता सूची में अपना नाम शामिल करने का पूरा मौका मिल सके। जिला अधिकारियों ने अभियान की प्रगति की जानकारी दी और यह बताया कि ग्राम स्तर पर स्थानीय प्रतिनिधियों, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ताओं और मीडिया की सहभागिता से मतदाता सूची के अवलोकन और नाम जुड़वाने के लिए सभी को समान अवसर उपलब्ध कराया जा रहा है।
बैठक में मुख्य विकास अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए गए कि वे मतदाता सूची में हुई त्रुटियों को गंभीरता से लें। विशेष रूप से चमोली, टिहरी गढ़वाल और ऊधम सिंह नगर के मुख्य विकास अधिकारियों को त्रुटियों को सुधारने के निर्देश दिए गए। नैनीताल और अल्मोड़ा जिलों की सराहना की गई। इसके अतिरिक्त, मतपेटी, निर्वाचन सामग्री और मतदान केंद्रों की स्थिति की भी समीक्षा की गई।

On March 11, 2025, the State Election Commissioner of Uttarakhand held a comprehensive video conference with district officials, Panchayati Raj officials, and local election officers to review the preparations for the upcoming 2025 Tristariya Panchayat General Elections.
A key focus of the meeting was the review of the special campaign to update the voter list. This campaign, running from March 1 to March 22, 2025, aims to add, modify, and correct voter details in the Panchayat Electoral Roll 2025. Meetings are being held in every village in the state, ensuring that all residents participate in the review of the voter list.
Officials, including computer operators and BLOs (Booth Level Officers), will also participate in these meetings to facilitate the inclusion of eligible voters and handle voter list modifications. District officials updated the progress of the campaign and highlighted the participation of local representatives, social workers, and media in ensuring that all voters at the gram level have equal opportunities to review and update the voter list.
In the meeting, special directives were issued to the Chief Development Officers of Chamoli, Tehri Garhwal, and Udham Singh Nagar, emphasizing the need to address errors in the voter list seriously. The commissioners of Nainital and Almora districts were appreciated for their efforts. Additionally, the readiness of ballot boxes, polling materials, and polling centers was also reviewed.
